Description:
✓ Haitises National Park - The Residence of God.
We travel on a modern and powerful motor boat in the Dominican Venice, the mangrove of Los Haitises National Park.
This park is called the residence of God, whose area is 160 square kilometers.
Thanks to the unique mix of fresh and sea water, oysters, crabs, lobsters, shrimps and other marine reptiles live here, mangrove grows. On a motor boat we go around the picturesque islands in the Atlantic Ocean.
Including Bird Island, which was chosen by numerous birds: pelicans, eagles, frigates, gulls, ducks and others.
We cross the largest mangrove forest in America, visit two huge caves in which local aborigines lived and worked, Taino Indians are good people, and pirates of the Caribbean hid their treasures. We admire the colorful stalactites and stalagmites that crystallize right before our eyes. We consider the pictograms (cave paintings) of the Taino Indians.
✓ "I was on fun, I flew on a broomstick."We go by jeeps or a Safari tourist truck to Mount Redonda (Montaña Redonda), admire the beautiful bird's eye view of El Limon beach, the green mountain plateau in the Miches area, ride a swing and fly a broom.
✓ Merge with nature at environmental hotels and restaurants, Paráiso Caño Hondo. We swim in natural pools, a jacuzzi and waterfalls.
✓ Fly over the zip line cable car over the picturesque natural park, Paráiso Caño Hondo, climb to the observation deck and enjoy the primeval views of Dominican nature from a bird's flight.
✓ We visit one of the most picturesque snow-white beaches in the area of Miches called Arriba, swim, relax, sunbathe.

Such an amazing experience! Our guide, Henry, was so friendly and knowledgeable about his country. It was a long day and a lot of driving, but we got to see so much and Henry shared stories and pieces of history with us throughout the trip so the drives didn’t feel as long. Definitely recommended if you want to actually see the country outside of the resort life. Useful items: – water shoes – sanitizing hand wipes – bug spray – sunscreen – water
