Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa – Adults Only – All Inclusive

We visitred Secrets Cap Cana from April 2 to April 9, 2022. This is the best overall resort that we have visited so far, with easily the best staff. We were in building 5, 2nd floor, pool view. While there was only a sliver of the pool that we could actually see, this wasn't an issue for us. (3rd floor would likely be able to see the ocean, and the 4th floor & up would definitely be able to see the ocean.) The sun would rise to the left of our patio, giving us early morning sun. By the early afternoon, our patio was in shade. (Perfect combo.) They don't do wristbands, and the restaurants don't take reservations. We like this setup very much. Some of the staff that stood out to us were: Claury. Our concierge. She would send a message through "whatsapp" every morning at roughly 8:30 with an attachment showing the day's activities. She was responsive every time (only needed to a very limited number) that I had a quesiton for her. We would also see her on the beach throughout the day checking in with her guests to make sure that if they needed anything, or had any questions, that it was taken care of. Always friendly, always smiling. Saldy. Hostess at the Market Cafe. We traveled with a friend of our's who had hip replacement surgery 2 months prior. She needed her cane for support. Saldy seemed to have a legitimate connection with Lynn & could not have been more friendly and helpful. She had a constant smile & a great personality. Ivan. Wait staff in the Market Cafe. (Also saw him a couple of times at "lunch on the beach".) Ivan was always quick to assist our friend in taking her plate & walking her to our table at breakfast. One of the times, he came dancing up to Lynn to assist. Very friendly personality, always making sure that we had anything that we wanted/needed. Jose'. "Omelette Master" at the Market Cafe. I had an omelette each morning & was greeted with a huge smile and warm greeting every time. Very nice, sincere man. Douglas. Wait staff for "lunch on the beach". Douglas was also very helpful with our friend, walking her plate over to our chairs on the beach. He would help us recommendations on the various foods that they had each day. Very friendly personality. Darlin. Beach wait staff. Yet another exceptionally friendly person. He maintained a perfect level of service in getting our drinks and checking in on us. You can have staff that check in too little or too often. Darlin was a perfect balance. Juan. Wait staff at Portofino Italina Restaurant. Juan is probably the most professional waiter that I have ever seen. Perfect timing on checking in with us. When asked for recommendations, he was quick & thorough with his recommendations. VERY friendly and professional. It was just an excellent experience. (The food was great as well.)
