The region’s most important open water tournament is regarded as Master of the Ocean. In five different sports—surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, and wingflight—more than 80 elite athletes from 20 different nations compete in this race, making it one of a kind. Athletes can compete individually or as a team (one competitor mastering all 5 disciplines).

The Cabarete, Puerto Plata, celebration of water sports will run from February 23 to February 28, 2023. The 18th Master of the Ocean competition will focus on sustainability and offer plenty of thrills. The whole family will appreciate this activity!
